The City of Angels

Currently sipping on wine in a can and walking towards Runyon canyon from Sunset Boulevard. Needless to say, California is awesome.

It's my first time out west.  Mainly floored by the nature aspect of it all. There's the desert, ocean, mountain, sand, sun, surf, and city all rolled into one sun-shining package. Oh, and the weather is 75 and cloudless with no humidity.

But for some strange, morbid reason, Los Angeles makes me miss Manhattan.

I guess the fact that LA is not necessarily a walking city (it's super spread out) and it's not nearly as accessible in terms of everything you may want or need within a two mile radius, I feel a bit... Thrown? I'm not sure.

But on the other hand, New York will never compare to California's laid back style and flawless setting. It's incredible to go from desert to mountains to the beach all in one day.

I guess one city can't really have it all. Pros and cons to any place one may live in their life.

Honestly though, I can't wait to get back into the Atlantic Ocean semi-known as my backyard swimming pool. Bath water ocean's are much more my scene than the ice cold pacific.

Anyway, I love you, California- you're a total babe.
