A Doll's House

when i was a little girl, i loved (and i mean LOVED) playing "doll's house". i would create an entire house with barbie-sized furnishings, using beanie babies as "pets", making sectioned off areas such as a kitchen, living, dining, and bedroom. even including a pool (my dog's water bowl).

over a decade later, i no longer play with dolls, but i love recreating fresh living arrangements on inspiration boards or art collages as a creative outlet to my imaginary home. that is still one of my favorite things to do.

below i posted a photo for each room of my imaginary dream home. i find inspiration in every photo; ranging from the tile work on the floor, a knob on a door, the color of a pillow, the shape of a frame, or the texture of a wall or rug. beauty is everywhere.
