my very best friend of eight years is flying into nyc tomorrow morning. she lives in michigan and we have not seen each other since december 2011. abby has never been to new york! so i am more than ecstatic to show her around this remarkable, smelly, beautiful, dirty city. but more than that, i am so grateful to see my best friend.
