i often wish i was more of a creative person. sure, i love to play guitar, write, photograph, style, and decorate, but i wish i could conjure up and cultivate more original ideas. i only play cover songs (i can't write music to save my life), i write daily from a more journalistic point of view (i am no jk rowling or sylvia plath), and i decorate based on emulations from my favorite designers (i love you, rachel ashwell!) now that i'm done telling you how uncreative i am, i cant wait to recreate these diy projects below. simple (some), efficient, and mostly practical (we all need lamps, right? and coasters?), they are as useful as they are whimsical. summer time = diy time.
